SO much has been going on in the sports world, and I have been to busy to start yapping about it!! Well, the baby is sleeping (for the moment) and I HAVE TIME!!!
Ok, let's recap a little of "my takes".
TIGER WOODS
She is hot...she is not THAT hot!! Let her go! You have a problem bigger than she can be expected to overlook. Get your help, then get back Gatorade as a sponsor, cause I really like the grape Tiger flavor!!
On a serious note, Tiger will never be the same. IF Tiger decides that he wants to get back to being a premier player with the PGA tour; his image, his dedication, his integrity, and even his never-before questioned focus will never be the same. He will not have the mental edge any longer. He is HUMAN. My only advice to him is to get the same "image consultants" that helped Kobe Bryant regain his image.
SUPERBOWL - Saints Vs. Colts
WOW! Number 1 Vs. Number 1!! A rarity in the pro-sports world that a Championship game features the top two teams. Also a rarity that the top two teams are Offense first! But, in the end, it was the defense that won the game.
It was a tough game for me to chose a team to root for. On one hand, I like the Colts. They have been a very fun team to watch, not to mention Manning is one of those athletes that everyone should feel privileged to watch. On the other hand, I am a Raiders fan. I would be very happy to watch Drew Brees win the Super Bowl after the Chargers turned their back on him and sent him to one of the worst performing franchises in the NFL - the "Aints"! In the end I went with the Saints (I had to go with my Raiders fan side of it).
Ladies and gentleman - The Aints have got their "S" back!! S for SUPERBOWL, S for SWAGGER, S for SEAN PEYTON, S for SAVIOURS of a wonderful city, and S for S A I N T S!!!

Payton Manning Vs Sean Peyton
Colts have two receivers named after towns in Texas (Dallas Clark and Austin Collie) yet neither team had a starter from any Texas school.
Tim Tebow got a commercial 2 minutes into the game, when some say he may never even make the NFL. (two comments -1. NO WAY I am touching the topic of that commercial here!! 2. I think he has a future)
Chargers said Drew Brees was NOT championship calibre...WRONG!!
KOBE BRYANT
The greatest Laker ever? NO.
I will give Kobe this credit: He is without question the greatest RAW talent playing in the NBA right now. His "image team" has made him once again a valuable name brand. And his play on the court has returned him to NBA champion.
But to call him the greatest Laker ever is not accurate. You ALWAYS have to look at entire careers. His is filled with championships and MVP's and scoring titles, but he also spent much of it being regarded as the most selfish player ever. His attitude towards his teammates and even coaches was childish. It wasn't until he had a life and career changing event that he was forced into being the mature and productive teammate that he is now.
The greatest Laker ever is ironically the greatest passer ever- Magic Johnson.
